AK47s are almost an alternative to M4s considering their extreme popularity and massive availability of upgrade parts. Their primary advantage over the M4 platform is their version 3 gearbox. V3 gearboxes are stronger than most v2 gearboxes which gives the AK more durability. The AK is available in wood stock, plastic stock, full metal, no rails, four rails, etc. They are also available in shorter varieties that are useful in CQC as well as longer variety that are great for outdoor play.
